Description

As we age, the effects of prolonged sun exposure, poor diet, pollution and smoking can all take their toll on our skin. This is characterised by a thinning of the epidermis and dermis, coarse skin texture, wrinkling, and changes in pigmentation. Collagen and elastin – the tough fibrous proteins which give our skin its texture and elasticity – are damaged and their rate of reproduction slows.
